Kingdom Highlights Economic Opportunities and Supply-Chain Cooperation
Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Ambassador to Mexico, participated in the North Capital Forum, organised by the US-Mexico Foundation with the participation of representatives from Mexico, the United States and Canada.
The forum discussed ways to strengthen economic cooperation and enhance supply-chain resilience.
During the forum, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa highlighted Bahrain’s economic diversification approach under Bahrain Vision 2030 and its role in building sustainable international partnerships.
He also highlighted promising opportunities to expand trade and investment ties between Bahrain and Mexico, particularly in the manufacturing sector, while noting Bahrain’s position as a gateway for Mexican companies seeking access to GCC and Middle Eastern markets.
Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa further highlighted Bahrain’s experience in developing human capital and strengthening cooperation among government entities, industry and educational institutions to meet evolving labour-market needs.
