The Youth Pioneer Society has successfully wrapped up the first phase of the “Young Parliamentarian 2025” program, marking a significant step in nurturing Bahrain’s next generation of civic leaders.
This initial stage featured a series of specialized workshops led by academics and experts, designed to equip participants with essential leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Topics ranged from teamwork and leadership development to decision-making, critical thinking, and research methodologies. A dedicated session on communication and presentation skills trained participants in public speaking, audience engagement, and crafting impactful messages.
The program also introduced its first interactive dialogue session, providing a platform for participants to present ideas and discuss pressing youth and community issues.
Ms. Jawaher Alsenan, General Coordinator of the program, praised the participants for their dedication, highlighting that the workshops reflect a milestone in shaping competent, proactive, and responsible future leaders.
Looking ahead, participants will advance to the program’s second phase, featuring roundtable discussions aimed at applying the skills acquired in the first phase, including analytical thinking, policy formulation, and effective communication. Alsenan noted that these practical experiences play a crucial role in fostering informed and active youth engagement in public life.
The “Young Parliamentarian 2025” program continues to demonstrate the Kingdom’s commitment to empowering youth with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to contribute meaningfully to society.
