Bahrain to Compete in the 2025 Paralympic Beach Games in Türkiye

The Kingdom of Bahrain is set to participate in the inaugural Paralympic Beach Games for People with Disabilities, taking place in Mersin, Türkiye, from October 18 to 25, 2025.

Organized under the supervision of the Bahrain Paralympic Committee, the national delegation will compete in three sporting disciplinespowerlifting, badminton, and sailing — marking a historic first for Bahraini Paralympic sports on the international beach games stage.

Representing Bahrain in powerlifting are Amal Al Fardan, Hussain Suwar, and Fay, while Zainab Ali and Ahmed Abu Satar will compete in badminton, and Abdullah Al Balushi alongside Musa Al Sayegh will represent the Kingdom in sailing.

The team aims to deliver exceptional performances and bring pride to Bahrain by securing podium finishes, underscoring the nation’s growing presence and commitment to supporting athletes with disabilities in global sporting events.
