The Ministry of Education has begun steps to acquire the Sanabis Primary Girls School building after years of leasing, Parliament’s Services Committee chairman Mamdouh Al Saleh said.
He added that the move is meant to improve the school setting and give staff and students steadier ground.
Al Saleh said taking ownership is a step towards lasting services and better teaching in the area.
He credited Minister of Education Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma with clear work and a wide plan for the sector, noting the ministry is moving fast on facilities and academic results to match national needs.
Al Saleh said the Services Committee is following education projects and backing efforts that serve classrooms and communities.
Results
Joint work between the legislative and executive branches, he added, is yielding results for citizens and fits Bahrain’s social and economic plans, which place schooling high on the list.
Al Saleh said the measures also answer the wishes of residents and civic groups in the Third Constituency of the Capital Governorate, with the aim of turning the campus into a model school in step with the Reform Project to raise teaching quality in a modern, well-equipped setting.
He closed by thanking the leadership, represented by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their continued support for education and guidance to keep it as a base of progress and prosperity in Bahrain.
