Interior Minister Receives Commander of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command and Fifth Fleet
Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received this morning Vice Admiral Kurt Renshaw, Commander of the U.S. Naval Forces Central Command and the U.S. Fifth Fleet, on the occasion of his appointment. The meeting was attended by Public Security Chief, Major-General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan.
The Minister welcomed Vice Admiral Renshaw and wished him success in his new role, emphasizing Bahrain’s appreciation for the strong and strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States. He highlighted the shared commitment of both nations to enhancing cooperation in ways that promote regional security and stability.
During the meeting, both sides discussed areas of joint cooperation and security coordination, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.
