The Equal Opportunities Committee at the Ministry of Information held its third meeting of 2025, chaired by Abdulrahman Khalid Al-Midfa, Assistant Undersecretary for News and Regulatory Affairs, with committee members in attendance.
During the session, the committee reviewed its key achievements in promoting gender balance and enhancing women’s empowerment across the ministry’s departments and divisions. Members also followed up on the implementation of previous decisions and related reports.
The meeting addressed upcoming initiatives, including preparations for Bahraini Women’s Day celebrations, and participation in the Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Award for the Advancement of Bahraini Women.
