Kuwait Crown Prince Meets Bahrain’s Foreign Minister in New York
His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, today received His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, at his residence in New York on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait.
His Highness the Crown Prince warmly welcomed the Bahraini minister and his accompanying delegation, praising the strong bonds of brotherhood, friendship, and longstanding cooperation between the two countries and peoples.
He entrusted Dr. Al Zayani with conveying his greetings and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, wishing them good health and Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
For his part, Dr. Al Zayani conveyed the greetings and best wishes of His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, and to His Highness the Crown Prince, wishing Kuwait further growth, development, and prosperity.
The two sides exchanged cordial discussions and reaffirmed the depth of fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, stressing their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation across all fields to serve mutual interests.
The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Ambassador of Bahrain to the United States; Jamal Fares Al-Ruwaiei, Bahrain’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York; Khalid Yusuf Al-Jalahma, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs; Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director-General of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Saeed Abdulkhaliq, Head of the Coordination and Follow-up Sector at the Ministry.
