Court to rule on fatal tire explosion case

The High Criminal Court has set October 14 to deliver its verdict in the case of a repair shop owner accused of negligence after a worker was killed when a truck tire exploded during inflation.
Prosecutors charged the defendant with failing to provide proper safety equipment and to ensure that the machinery used was safe, suitable, and properly maintained, alleging that his negligence directly led to the worker’s death.
According to police investigations, the victim was inflating a heavy truck tire when it burst under high air pressure, striking him in the face and causing fatal injuries.
