Bahrain Chairs GCC Labour Ministers Meeting
The Kingdom of Bahrain chaired the 65th Coordination Meeting of the Ministers of Labour of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states, held in Cairo.
The meeting was attended by Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States.
Ambassador Zainal stressed the importance of continued coordination among GCC member states on labour issues of mutual interest, highlighting the need to strengthen their presence and positions in relevant Arab and regional forums.
The meeting also discussed several items on the agenda of the 52nd session of the Arab Labour Conference, which is scheduled to take place in Cairo from September 13 to 20.
