HH Shaikh Nasser Meets Students in “Try To Work” Programme

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), welcomed the students taking part in the fourth edition of the “Try To Work” programme, organised by the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).

The meeting was also attended by Ayman bin Tawfiq Al Moayyad, Secretary-General of the SCYS; Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs; and Sameer Abdullah Nass, Chairman of the BCCI.

Shaikh Nasser praised the programme as a valuable initiative that strengthens community partnership and gives young Bahrainis hands-on experience to prepare them for the labour market. He stressed that such opportunities help build a skilled and competitive generation.

He highlighted the success of the initiative in linking education with the private sector, describing it as a pioneering model that supports youth empowerment and national development.

Shaikh Nasser called for more programmes of this kind to continue offering students practical exposure while instilling values of discipline, teamwork, and responsibility. He affirmed that Bahraini youth remain the cornerstone of development and the driving force for the Kingdom’s future.
