Ahmed Khairi Appointed Director General of Sunni Endowments

Shaikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed bin Fatees Al Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, received Mr. Ahmed Khalil Ibrahim Khairi on the occasion of his appointment as Director General of the Sunni Endowments.

At the start of the meeting, Shaikh Dr. Al Hajri welcomed Mr. Khairi and congratulated him on receiving the royal trust. He wished him success in his new role, emphasizing the importance of enhancing endowment work, developing its revenues, and improving its services to serve society. He also expressed confidence that the new administration would achieve further significant accomplishments in the endowment sector and in the care of mosques.

Mr. Khairi expressed his sincere gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for the royal confidence. He praised the King’s ongoing support for the endowment sector and said this trust motivates him to exert greater effort in serving the endowments and fulfilling their societal mission. He also appreciated the strong support from the government under the leadership of HRH Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister.

Mr. Khairi extended his thanks to Shaikh Dr. Al Hajri for his congratulations and support, reaffirming his determination to advance endowment work, achieve its noble goals, and strengthen the role of endowments in society.
