HM King Hamad Visits Youth City 2030

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, paid a visit to Youth City 2030, reaffirming the nation's commitment to nurturing and empowering young talents. Accompanying His Majesty was His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the King's Personal Representative.

Upon arrival, His Majesty was warmly received by key leaders in youth development: His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports; His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee; Mr. Ayman bin Tawfiq Al Moayed, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports; and Ms. Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, along with several senior officials and project supervisors.

His Majesty was presented with a detailed briefing on the objectives and achievements of Youth City 2030. The initiative, launched as a leading platform for youth empowerment, offers a comprehensive training environment focused on developing skills and preparing young Bahrainis for active roles in national development. It currently hosts 195 training programs and provides 5,500 diverse opportunities across key sectors.

During the visit, His Majesty toured the city’s five core centers:

• Science and Technology

• Arts and Culture

• Leadership and Entrepreneurship

• Media and Entertainment

• Sports and Health

He also explored the Youth Market, a vibrant space showcasing innovative projects and entrepreneurial ventures led by Bahraini youth, reflecting their creativity and drive.

The visit concluded with a group photograph of His Majesty alongside the organizers and team members of Youth City 2030, in recognition of their dedication and outstanding contributions to this national initiative.
