New Health Centre Takes Shape in Salman City

Works Minister Ibrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj has inspected the ongoing construction of the Hussein Ali Yateem Health Centre in Salman City, as part of the ministry’s follow-up on primary healthcare projects across Bahrain.

During the visit, the minister reviewed the progress of construction and the centre’s planned facilities, stressing the importance of delivering the project to high technical standards and meeting the current and future healthcare needs of residents.

The new centre will include 14 doctors’ clinics and 10 dental clinics, along with laboratory, radiology and physiotherapy departments for both men and women.

It will also feature maternal and child healthcare clinics, a pharmacy, emergency and nursing departments, as well as dedicated parking areas for patients and staff.

Minister Al Hawaj said the project will strengthen primary healthcare services by bringing preventive, diagnostic and treatment services closer to residents.

He also highlighted the role of private-sector and community partnerships in supporting government healthcare efforts, thanking the Hussein Ali Yateem family for their contribution to the project.

Once completed, the centre is expected to improve access to integrated healthcare services and support the growing needs of communities in Salman City.
