Three-day event to showcase Gulf manufacturing and industrial capabilities
Manama, Aug. 31: Bahrain will host the inaugural “Made in GCC 2026” Forum and Exhibition from October 6 to 8 at Bahrain Exhibition World, under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The event will bring together senior government officials, CEOs, manufacturers and investors from across the GCC to promote industrial cooperation and economic integration.
The forum is among the initiatives endorsed by GCC leaders during the Gulf Summit hosted by Bahrain in December 2025, supporting efforts to strengthen regional manufacturing and develop a unified Gulf product.
Manufacturing accounted for 13.13% of combined GCC GDP in 2025. In Bahrain, the sector contributed 15.1% of GDP, making it the Kingdom’s second-largest economic contributor, with annual growth of 3.7%.
Bahraini manufacturers will showcase capabilities across sectors including aluminium and metals, steel, energy, marine and engineering, cables, food and dairy, textiles, jewellery, perfumes and consumer products.
The exhibition will provide opportunities for companies to connect with investors, buyers and business partners from across the GCC and international markets.
