Bahrain and Lebanon have affirmed the strength of their bilateral ties and their ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation and coordination for the benefit of both countries and their peoples.

This came as His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held separate telephone calls with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati during his visit to the Kingdom.

HM the King affirmed the depth of Bahrain-Lebanon relations and the Kingdom’s continued commitment to supporting development efforts across various fields, in line with the aspirations of both nations and their citizens.

HRH Prince Salman highlighted the steady progress of bilateral relations, emphasising their role in opening broader prospects for cooperation and joint coordination.

His Majesty and His Royal Highness conveyed their greetings to Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and wished him continued success and prosperity. Prime Minister Mikati expressed his gratitude to HM King Hamad and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, noting the warm hospitality extended to him and his accompanying delegation during their visit.

He also reaffirmed Lebanon’s firm and supportive stance towards Bahrain and all Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries in confronting any threats to their security, sovereignty, and stability.
