Bahrain-Based Brent Amado Among Top 100 Global Child Prodigies to Be Recognized in British Parliament
Brent Cataneo Amado, a young Filipino prodigy residing in Bahrain, is set to receive global recognition at the Global Child Prodigy Awards (GCPA) 2025, one of the world’s most prestigious platforms celebrating extraordinary young talent.
The award ceremony will take place on June 26, 2025, at the Member’s Dining Room in the House of Commons, British Parliament, United Kingdom. Brent is among 100 exceptional young achievers selected from thousands of nominations across 130 countries, earning his place through outstanding accomplishments in music and the arts.
Brent began his artistic journey at the age of six during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, he has blossomed into a multi-award-winning pianist and visual artist. His impressive accolades include a bronze medal at the World Classical Music Awards in Europe, a gold medal at the Gulf Musician Idol 2022, and a prestigious performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City, after emerging victorious in the American Protégé competition.
Beyond music, Brent has also made significant strides in the visual arts. He showcased his creative works at the Grand Art Exhibition at the University of the Philippines Diliman and earned recognition at the Bahrain Art Culture and Heritage Drawing Competition. His talents extend to sports as well, with medal-winning performances in swimming and taekwondo, demonstrating a remarkable level of versatility for someone his age.
Brent's achievements have attracted attention from global media outlets such as GMA News and The Global Filipino Magazine. He was recently honored with the "Rising Star in Global Arts and Culture" award at The Global Filipino Icon Awards 2025, further underscoring his status as an inspiring role model for young dreamers worldwide.
