23rd Anniversary of Supreme Council for Women in Bahrain: Royal and Government Leaders Praise Contributions of Bahraini Women and Leadership

To mark the 23rd anniversary of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) in Bahrain, a series of congratulatory messages were exchanged among the royal family and government officials, celebrating the achievements of Bahraini women. The messages acknowledged the roles of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa in advancing women’s rights and contributing to national development. They praised the accomplishments of Bahraini women across various fields, attributing their success to the support from the leadership and the strategic efforts of the SCW under Princess Sabeeka's guidance.

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a message of congratulations from Her Highness Shaikha Thajba bint Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who conveyed warm congratulations and best wishes.

Her Highness expressed appreciation for the support His Majesty has provided to Bahraini women, enabling them to achieve prominent positions. She commended His Majesty’s belief in the role of women within his development projects, which are supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. His Royal Highness’s government has introduced programmes designed to advance and empower women.

Her Highness Shaikha Thajba also acknowledged the vision of HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the Consort of His Majesty and President of the SCW.
