An evening of Tamil songs to be held at Indian Club

An Evening of Tamil hit songs titled ‘Isai Gnaniyin Isai Mazhai– The Rain of Ilaiyaraja’ is to be held at the Indian Club’s Sanskar Hall on December 10.

The repertoire of Tamil Hit Songs will be performed by famous Indian TV playback singer, Gnana Sekar. He will be joined on stage by singers Jenitha, Shobana, Jolly, Renjith and Jairam.

The evening’s music will be provided by the Chennai ‘Shruthi’ live orchestra, which will include two well known musicians from the Gangai Amaran Team– Pradeep Raja on drums and Kalaimani on keyboard.

The performance will start at 8pm – entry is free for all.

“The Indian Club is always keen to support initiatives that highlight the artistic traditions and talents from all sectors of Indian society and we are delighted to host this evening of Tamil music, which is sure to be a popular draw not only for the Tamil community but across the Indian expats in Bahrain,” said Ashok Kumar T.S., General Secretary of the Indian Club.

The event is presented by Zayani Motors, a regular supporter of events and activities in Bahrain that celebrate the culture and customs of the Indian community.
