Cabinet reviews national priorities and approves key agreements
The Cabinet, chaired by His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, reviewed key national developments and government initiatives during its weekly meeting held at Gudaibiya Palace.
The Cabinet welcomed the Royal Order issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to establish the National Resilience Documentation Committee, tasked with documenting the hostile Iranian attacks against Bahrain.
The Cabinet said the committee will help create a documented national record reflecting the unity between Bahrain’s leadership and people in facing challenges.
The Cabinet also congratulated Bahrain following the Asian Racing Federation’s decision to upgrade the Bahrain International Trophy to international Group 1 status, describing it as a milestone that strengthens the Kingdom’s position in global equestrian sports.
The meeting highlighted the contributions of Bahraini women in diplomacy on the occasion of the International Day of Women in Diplomacy, while also reviewing national efforts to combat drug abuse and illicit trafficking.
The Cabinet reviewed preparations by ministries and government entities for the Ashura season to ensure smooth arrangements.

- Approved a memorandum of understanding between the Government of Bahrain and the Government of Seychelles on cooperation in fisheries and aquaculture.
- Approved a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture and Gulf University.
- Approved a memorandum of understanding between the National Institution for Human Rights and the Institute of Public Administration.
- Approved the government’s response to several proposals submitted by the Council of Representatives.

- Outcomes of the high-level virtual meeting of African leaders and partners regarding the Bundibugyo Ebola outbreak.
