Cairo: Amr Diab, the Egyptian music icon, has won his second Guinness World Records title after spending 69 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard Arabia's Artist 100 chart, setting a new record for the most weeks at the top by a male artist.
Diab's career, which spans more than four decades, gains another milestone with this accolade. He has remained a major figure in Arab music, with a fan base that spans generations.
Diab dedicated the achievement to his fans, stating that their love and support continue to inspire him. He also stressed his dedication to improving his music and learning how his fans react to each new release.
