Air France Extends Beirut Flight Suspension

Carrier halts Riyadh, Dubai services over regional security concerns

Air France has extended the suspension of flights to and from Beirut until August 2, while temporarily stopping services to Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh and Dubai due to the ongoing security situation in the Middle East.

The airline said operations will resume only after a review of the local security situation, which it described as “rapidly evolving” amid continued tensions and hostilities involving the United States and Iran.

Flights between Paris and Riyadh will remain suspended until July 24, with departures from Riyadh affected until July 25. Services to and from Dubai will be suspended until July 27, with Dubai departures halted until July 28.

Air France said affected passengers are being contacted directly and announced flexible travel options, allowing customers to cancel or postpone trips without additional charges, even if their flights have not been cancelled.

The airline stressed that passenger and crew safety remains its “utmost priority” and said it continues to monitor regional developments and airspace restrictions before resuming operations.
