Kansas City: US police are actively investigating the theft of England's training equipment after team vehicles were broken into. The local police department confirmed it is investigating the missing items, which were taken just before the squad's scheduled arrival at its Swope Soccer Village base on Saturday.

Essential gear, including balls and boots, was reportedly stolen during the incident, though two arrests have already been made in connection with the episode. The Football Association confirmed the situation but stated it cannot comment further as it is a police matter.

Despite this pre-tournament disruption, manager Thomas Tuchel’s squad is still expected to train at the facility at 5:00 pm on Saturday after transferring from Florida.

The theft complicates England’s final preparations just days before they kick off their World Cup campaign against Croatia on Wednesday, ahead of remaining Group L matches against Ghana and Panama
