Human Rights Report Presented to Royal Court

Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court, received Ali Ahmed Al Derazi, President of the National Institution of Human Rights (NIHR), who presented the institution’s 13th annual report for 2025.
The minister conveyed His Majesty’s greetings to the NIHR and praised its achievements and continued progress, reaffirming the Kingdom’s commitment to human rights, justice and the rule of law. He also highlighted the NIHR’s regional and international work, including its presidency of the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions and its partnership with the United Nations Development Programme in a regional workshop on responsible AI governance. Al Derazi expressed gratitude for the King’s continued support and outlined the report’s recommendations, monitoring findings, training and awareness programmes.
