General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Interior Minister, received retired Air Vice Marshal Martin Sampson, Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies – Middle East. Lieutenant General Tariq Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Police, attended the meeting.
The minister stressed the importance of strengthening communication and exchanging expertise, highlighting the role of strategic research institutions in supporting decision-making. He also praised the IISS role in promoting global peace and organising strategic forums, including the annual Manama Dialogue. The meeting addressed policing challenges, cooperation and coordination, as well as the latest regional and international developments.
