Seoul: Former South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol has received a 30-year prison sentence following his conviction for sending covert military drones into North Korea. The landmark ruling concludes a highly sensitive legal battle over cross-border provocations that severely threatened regional stability.
According to the judicial findings, Yoon bypassed official protocols to personally order the drone incursions into sovereign North Korean territory.
