UAE Stands With India After New Delhi Hotel Fire Kills 21

Abu Dhabi : The UAE has extended its condolences to India after a fire tore through a hotel in New Delhi, killing at least 21 people and injuring dozens of others.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed sympathy to the families of the victims and to the Indian government and people, while wishing a swift recovery for those injured in the tragedy.
The blaze broke out at a hotel in the Malviya Nagar area of the capital, where 47 guests were staying. More than 40 people were taken to hospital, with several reported to be in critical condition.
Local media said a number of the victims were foreign nationals, mainly from Central Asia and Africa, who had travelled to India for medical treatment.
