Florida: Following his March DUI arrest and rollover collision close to his Jupiter Island property, Tiger Woods reportedly underwent rehabilitation treatment in Switzerland before returning to Florida.
The 15-time major champion was seen in photos released on Thursday arriving at Palm Beach International Airport with a compression sleeve on his right leg, which suffered serious injuries in a vehicle accident in 2021.
In April, a Florida judge had given him permission to fly abroad for what his legal team called an ‘intensive, highly individualised and medically integrated’ therapy program that would take place away from the public eye.
On March 27, the 50-year-old golfer was taken into custody after his SUV overturned close to his Florida home. Woods allegedly had hydrocodone pills in his hands and displayed symptoms of impairment, according to the authorities. Later, he made a not guilty plea to charges of misdemeanour DUI.
As part of the ongoing investigation, prosecutors are currently requesting access to Woods' prescription medication records. His next court date is set on July 7.
In order to concentrate on his healing, Woods has withdrawn from competitive golf, skipping the 2026 Masters Tournament and withdrawing himself from consideration for the 2027 Ryder Cup captaincy.
