Sharjah: Sharjah is set to inaugurate a new women-only beach park in Dibba Al Hisn, providing a dedicated and private coastal retreat. Spanning 6,350 square metres, the project was developed under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, to enhance recreational facilities for women in the emirate.

Privacy is a core feature of the park, which is fully enclosed by a three-metre-high perimeter fence. Additionally, a 200-metre rock breakwater has been constructed to shield the beach from external visibility and mitigate wave impact. This design ensures a secure environment where women and children can enjoy the outdoors while respecting cultural considerations.

The beach park is equipped with a wide range of integrated facilities, including a two-wing building that houses a fitness centre, a creative activity hall, and a café. To ensure the well-being of visitors, the site also includes administrative offices, a medical clinic, a prayer room, and dedicated lifeguard towers for marine safety.

Families will find the park particularly accommodating, as it features a shaded children's play area with safe rubber flooring. For those looking to stay active, a rubberised walking track extends along the waterfront, supporting sports and wellness activities in a scenic setting.

This project is the first of three planned ladies-only beaches in Sharjah’s eastern region, with similar developments currently underway in Kalba and Khorfakkan.

The Dibba Al Hisn beach is expected to begin operations by the end of this week or early next week, marking a significant addition to Sharjah’s community infrastructure.
