Qatari Prime Minister Holds Call with Dutch Foreign Minister on Regional Developments
Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, held a telephone conversation with Tom Berendsen, Foreign Minister of the Netherlands.
During the call, both sides discussed ways to enhance and develop bilateral cooperation, while also reviewing key regional developments.
Particular focus was placed on the situation surrounding the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, including ongoing efforts aimed at de-escalation and strengthening regional security and stability.
The two officials emphasised the importance of all parties engaging constructively with mediation initiatives, highlighting the need to address the root causes of tensions through dialogue and peaceful solutions in order to achieve a lasting agreement and prevent further escalation.
