Child Protection Unit in Cyberspace, under the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security, has reported receiving 113 complaints between the start of 2026 and April 15.
The unit noted a noticeable shift in the nature of cases, highlighting a growing diversity in cybercrime patterns targeting children. This, it said, reflects the evolving tactics used in the digital environment and underscores the need to continuously upgrade response mechanisms and readiness in line with best security and legal practices.
