UAE Foreign Minister Holds Talks with Global Counterparts After Regional Escalation

Abu Dhabi:Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, held a series of phone calls with foreign ministers from several countries to discuss the latest regional developments following Iran’s missile attacks targeting the UAE and other nations.
He spoke with Helen McEntee of Ireland, Paulo Rangel of Portugal, and Arnoldo André Tinoco of Costa Rica. During the conversations, Sheikh Abdullah expressed his appreciation for their countries’ solidarity and support, while assuring them that all residents and visitors in the UAE remain safe.
The discussions also covered recent developments following the announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump of a two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran. The leaders highlighted the importance of coordinated international efforts to reduce tensions.
The calls underscored a shared commitment to promoting peace, security, and stability in the region, as diplomatic engagement continues amid ongoing uncertainty.
