WASHINGTON DC: US President Donald Trump has sharply criticised France for allegedly refusing to allow American planes loaded with military supplies bound for Israel to pass through its airspace.
In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump declared that Paris had been ‘VERY UNHELPFUL’ concerning the successful elimination of a figure he referred to as the ‘Butcher of Iran.’ He concluded his message with a stark warning, stating, ‘The U.S.A. will REMEMBER!!!’
This airspace refusal took place over the weekend. It reportedly marks the first time France has denied transit to such flights since the commencement of the current conflict in Iran.
