Washington: Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha Vance, have revealed that they are expecting their fourth child, sharing the announcement on social media platforms on Tuesday. The couple said they are eagerly anticipating the arrival of a baby boy due in late July 2026, emphasising that both mother and child are in good health.

In the joint statement, the Vances expressed gratitude for the military medical personnel and support staff who have assisted their family, noting that their care ensures the couple can balance public duties with family life.

The growing household already includes three young children Ewan, Vivek, and Mirabel and the announcement marks a rare moment in American political life, as Usha will be the first spouse of a sitting vice president to give birth while in office.

The couple met while studying at Yale Law School and married in 2014. Usha, 40, previously worked as a lawyer and clerked for federal judges, while JD Vance, 41, entered politics after serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and the Senate.
