Abu Dhabi Crash Claims Lives of Four Indian Expats, Three of Them Siblings

Abu Dhabi: Four Indian expats, including three young siblings, were killed in a car accident in Abu Dhabi early Sunday, January 4. The Kerala-origin family was returning to Dubai after attending the Liwa Festival when their vehicle lost control and overturned near Shahama on the Abu Dhabi–Dubai road.

The victims were identified as brothers Ashaz (14), Ammaar (12), Ayyash (5) and the family’s domestic helper Bushra. The parents, Abdul Latheef and Ruksana, and two other children were seriously injured and are being treated at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, with one child in critical condition. The family is from Malappuram district, Kerala and arrangements are being made for burial in the UAE.
