Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Departs for China to Co-Chair Strategic Dialogue

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has left for Beijing to co-chair the 7th Pakistan–China Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on 4 January 2026.

Senator Dar is the first foreign dignitary to visit China in 2026, following an invitation from the Chinese Foreign Minister.

The Dialogue will focus on reviewing the full range of Pakistan-China cooperation, exploring new areas of partnership, and strengthening the All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership between the two countries.
