Passenger Tries to Open Plane Door After Landing at Heathrow
A passenger on a Saudi Arabian Airlines flight tried to open the plane’s door immediately after landing at London’s Heathrow Airport on Thursday, August 28.
Saudi Arabia’s National Transport Safety Center confirmed the incident in a statement on its X account on Saturday. The flight, SV119, was traveling from Jeddah to London when the passenger reportedly tried to move the door handle while the plane was taxiing on the runway after landing.
The center said the passenger is believed to have a health condition. The flight crew acted quickly, pushing the passenger away from the door and ensuring the safety of everyone on board.
Authorities from Saudi Airlines and the UK are now coordinating to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
