UAE’s Premier Hunting & Equestrian Event Begins

The 22nd Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) opened its doors today, welcoming thousands of visitors from the UAE and around the world. The event is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club.

This year’s exhibition features 15 sectors covering hunting, equestrian sports, and innovations in technology and equipment, highlighting the UAE’s commitment to preserving its cultural heritage while embracing modern developments.

Held at ADNEC Abu Dhabi, the exhibition attracted 2,068 visitors eager to explore a wide variety of exhibits, including hunting and equestrian gear, falconry tools, traditional arts, outdoor adventure supplies, and other products from 552 companies from around the world. The displays combine authenticity with innovation, reflecting the diversity and growth of Emirati culture.

Visitors also enjoyed live performances and interactive activities, including equestrian shows, dog agility demonstrations, and traditional hunting arts. Falcon auctions offered both in-person and online opportunities to acquire rare and high-quality birds from local and international farms.

The Knowledge Center hosted educational sessions on topics such as the use of technology in sustainable development, wildlife protection, responsible hunting, and the care of horses and camels. Experts also discussed the history and future of falconry.

The exhibition continues until September 7, featuring competitions, product launches, family activities, and cultural performances. It serves as a premier destination for hunting and equestrian enthusiasts, as well as anyone interested in heritage, nature, and innovation.
