HONOR X7e Plus 5G Highlights Enhanced Durability

HONOR has introduced the X7e Plus 5G with a strong focus on durability, positioning the smartphone to withstand prolonged exposure to heat, dust and water, in addition to accidental drops.

The device features certified drop resistance of up to 2.5 metres and carries IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. According to HONOR, the phone can withstand rain, dust, water splashes, high-pressure water jets and submersion in water up to 1.5 metres under specified conditions.

The company said the smartphone is engineered to perform reliably in challenging environments where repeated exposure to heat, humidity and dust can gradually affect device performance. It also features a multi-point temperature monitoring system designed to maintain stable operation in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 50°C.

HONOR said the X7e Plus 5G is designed to offer long-term reliability by combining environmental protection with structural durability, helping users maintain consistent performance during everyday use, travel and outdoor activities. While the company notes the device is not indestructible, it says the added protection provides greater confidence in demanding conditions.
