FIX Brings ‘Dubai Chocolate’ Brand to Life with Community-Driven Installation

FIX Dessert Chocolatier is set to host a two-day interactive community event at Kite Beach, inviting residents to share messages of positivity and unity as part of a creative public art installation.

Held in partnership with Careem, the “Messages from the UAE” activation will run on May 9 and 10 from 4pm to midnight. Visitors will be able to contribute personal messages using digital tablets, which will form a dynamic word cloud displayed on a large, interactive installation.

The initiative encourages participants to express gratitude and kindness, with the collected messages later transformed into the design of a limited-edition FIX Hero Box set to be released later this year.

Organisers expect to distribute more than 5,000 goodie bags during the event, featuring products and vouchers from a range of UAE-based brands including Parker’s, Salt, Karen Wazen, and BRED, among others.

Sarah Hamouda, Co-Founder of FIX Dessert Chocolatier, said the concept was inspired by the power of simple gestures and the importance of community connection. She noted that the UAE provides a platform for homegrown ideas and businesses to thrive, and the initiative aims to celebrate that spirit through shared experiences.

The installation will update messages in real time, creating a live piece of community-driven art that reflects Dubai’s diversity and collective voice. The final design will later be incorporated into a special edition product, which will be available through Careem and at Dubai International Airport.

The event highlights Dubai’s growing focus on community engagement and creative experiences, offering residents and visitors a chance to connect, contribute, and celebrate the values of kindness and togetherness.
