Three schoolgirls. One ordinary day. Then, suddenly, they are pulled into a magical land, and told they are the legendary knights who must save it.
If that sounds familiar, you may have watched Magic Knight Rayearth in the 1990s. Created by CLAMP, a famous team of four women manga artists, it has now been remade from the very beginning as a brand-new cartoon.
It arrives on Crunchyroll on 7 October. Time to find out if it is as good as you remember.
