Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup Returns to Dubai
The 10th Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup, one of the world’s leading corporate golf tournaments, returned to Dubai, bringing together members of the city’s business community and golf enthusiasts for a competitive day on the greens.
Organised by Turkish Airlines, the national flag carrier of Türkiye and the airline that flies to more countries than any other, the Dubai tournament marked the 121st stop in this year’s global series. Since its launch in 2013, the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup has attracted more than 10,000 players across over 130 tournaments in 83 countries.
Local golfer Sultan Qazi claimed the champion’s title in Dubai with 47 points, earning the opportunity to represent the city at the Grand Finals in Türkiye later this year. Mujahid Siddiqui finished as runner-up, while Shoab Khan placed third. The Closest to the Pin competition was won by Aaron Smith (men) and Maura Duggan (women), while Niranj Sangal took the Gross award with 37 points.
Bilal Doner, General Manager of Turkish Airlines in Dubai, said:
“We thank all of our guests who made the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup in Dubai a great success. It was another thrilling tournament in the TAWGC series, and we are proud to host one of the largest corporate golf events across 130 destinations this year. Congratulations to our winner, Sultan Qazi, and best wishes for the finals in Türkiye.”
The Grand Finals will be held at the Gloria Golf Club on Türkiye’s Mediterranean coast, where winners from 122 global tournaments will compete. All finalists will travel in Turkish Airlines’ Business Class, reflecting the airline’s commitment to quality and service excellence.
Supported by Gloria Hotels & Resorts, the 2025 Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup continues to strengthen Türkiye’s position as a premier global golf destination. With flagship tournaments like the Turkish Airlines Open, the series has played a key role in promoting Antalya and the Turkish Golf Coast as world-class hubs for international sporting events.
