ADSW, SIEF Unite to Launch Blue Forum for Global Water Security

The Sino-International Entrepreneurs Federation (SIEF) and Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) have announced a strategic partnership and the launch of the Blue Forum, unveiled during the UAE-China Trade and Economic Cooperation Forum at the 2025 China International Import Expo, in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs.

The Blue Forum, a flagship initiative of the partnership, will be held on January 15, 2026, as part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The high-level event aims to strengthen global cooperation and investment in sustainable water management, emphasizing innovation, finance, and policy collaboration.

The forum will bring together leading Chinese enterprises, policymakers, and sustainability experts from Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and beyond to explore transformative solutions for a water-secure future. In addition, Asia-Pacific exhibitors will feature at the SIEF Pavilion during ADSW 2026, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and fostering cross-border collaboration in sustainability.

Masdar CEO Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi said the initiative reflects a shared commitment to advancing sustainable development and international cooperation. Dr. Lamya Fawwaz, Masdar’s Executive Director of Brand and Strategic Initiatives, added that the Blue Forum will “unite leaders from diverse regions and sectors to catalyze innovative solutions and build transformative partnerships for a sustainable future.”

William Wang, Chief Representative for the Middle East & Africa at SIEF, noted that partnering with ADSW, one of the world’s largest sustainability gatherings - demonstrates a joint vision to drive cross-border collaboration and unlock new opportunities for sustainable growth.
