Gamers game for a treat!
Avid gamers in Bahrain are in for a treat next month when PlayStation brings some of its most exciting titles and gizmos to the Island next month.
‘Bahrain Gaming Experience’ will be held at Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre from January 14 to 16. Visitors at the event will have the chance to check out some of the yet-to-be-released games and devices.
“PlayStation is powering the upcoming Bahrain Gaming Experience 2016, giving fans a chance to check out some of the upcoming titles coming for the PlayStation 4, and more. The event will feature a chance to get some hands-on time with Uncharted 4. Other games like Driveclub Bikes and Star Wars Battlefront will also be present. A FIFA 16 tournament will also be held, with a Mini Cooper up for grabs along with cash prize of $10,000 and $5,000 for second and third place winners respectively,” games and entertainment media company IGN noted.
Virtual Reality will also be available at the event.
“Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) has made every effort to allow the public the opportunity to get hands-on with the PlayStation VR head-mounted display (HMD) over the last few months, and 2016 looks set to be no different. The next public outing for the PlayStation 4’s virtual reality (VR) platform will be the Bahrain Gaming Experience 2016. While the PlayStation VR HMD has been confirmed to be playable at the event, no software titles have yet been revealed. No new announcements are expected at the event, so it’s very likely that the line-up of PlayStation VR software for the Bahrain Gaming Experience 2016 will be similar to that was on show at PlayStation Experience, San Francisco, earlier this month. This included the likes of RIGS: Mechanised Combat League, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood and EVE: Valkyrie,” VR focus noted.
