HH Shaikh Isa receives Saudi Ambassador to Kuwait, women’s futsal gold-medallists

Bahrain Olympic Committee vice-president and Bahrain’s delegation head at the third GCC Games, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, yesterday received Saudi Arabia Ambassador to Kuwait Prince Sultan bin Saad Al Saud, in the presence of Bahrain Ambassador to Kuwait Salah Al Malki.
HH Shaikh Isa welcomed Prince Sultan and hailed the close relations between Bahrain and Saudi, which is a reflection of bilateral growth in various fields.
HH Shaikh Isa also praised the positive results by Saudi teams at the Gulf Games, and wished their athletes further progress. During the reception, HH Shaikh Isa and Prince Sultan also met with Bahrain’s women’s futsal team, who on Tuesday captured a gold medal in their tournament.
Also during the day, HH Shaikh Isa met with judokas Ramazan Kodzhakov and Mohamed Nayef, who won a gold and bronze medal, respectively, on Tuesday night, and congratulated them on their achievements.
