ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Trophy Tour to Visit Bahrain in January

The Bahrain Cricket Federation (BCF) has announced the full programme for the DP World ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Trophy Tour in Bahrain. The details were revealed during a press conference held on Monday evening in Manama.

Organised by the BCF in cooperation with the International Cricket Council (ICC), the three-day tour will run from Friday, 9 January to Sunday, 11 January 2026. The event will give cricket fans, families, students, and the wider public a rare chance to see the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Trophy up close.

Speaking at the press conference, Mohammed Mansoor, Chairman of the Advisory Board of BCF, said the Trophy Tour reflects Bahrain’s growing presence in international cricket and its commitment to promoting the sport across the community.

The event was attended by senior BCF officials, including President Sami Ali, General Secretary Kishore Kewalram, Treasurer Meenaz, Advisor Yousif Lori, and board members Sameer and Alison, along with sponsors, partners, and media representatives.

Cricket Meets Culture and Community

The Trophy Tour will blend cricket celebrations with visits to key cultural and heritage locations across Bahrain. Planned activities include a Royal Boat Parade, fan engagement sessions at major shopping malls, visits to historic sites, and school outreach programmes designed to inspire young students.

BCF also thanked its partners and sponsors for their support, including iWorld, UFC Gym, Marriott Juffair, and its media partners, whose cooperation has helped make the tour possible.
