Dubai T100 unveils 2025 course as Bahrain Victorious duo eye title push

Marten Van Riel, Jelle Geens headline Dubai T100 showdown

The route for the 2025 Dubai T100 has been unveiled, featuring a new 100km course that will take athletes from Jumeirah 3 Beach – Sunset to a finish beneath the Burj Khalifa, in one of the most visually striking triathlons on the global calendar.

The event, taking place 13–16 November as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC), will see the world’s top triathletes compete over a 2km swim, 80km bike, and 18km run. The redesigned route also passes Meydan Racecourse, offering athletes a fast, flat layout designed for high speeds and dramatic racing.

Among those set to feature are Marten Van Riel, reigning T100 World Tour champion, and Jelle Geens, currently second in the standings — both representing Bahrain Victorious 13. The Belgian duo are expected to challenge for the overall title, with Geens chasing series leader Hayden Wilde heading into the penultimate stop of the season.

Organisers say the Dubai T100 reflects the emirate’s growing commitment to sport and community fitness. H.E. Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council, said the event embodies Dubai’s vision of making physical activity “part of everyday life” and “a celebration where elite competition meets grassroots participation.”

Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, added that hosting the T100 during the Dubai Fitness Challenge highlights the city’s “energy, diversity, and drive to become one of the world’s most active cities.”

Beyond the elite race, the weekend will feature community events such as the Sprint Triathlon (750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run), the Duathlon Relay (5km run, 22km bike, 5km run), and the crowd-friendly Music Run, a 5km fun run open to all fitness levels.

The T100 World Tour concludes in Qatar in December, following earlier stops in Singapore, San Francisco, London, and Valencia.
