Kinara & Forrey & Galland Craft ‘Diwali by Design’ Feast

In celebration of Diwali, Kinara by Vikas Khanna at JA Lake View Hotel has announced an exclusive culinary collaboration with the renowned Parisian Chocolatier Forrey & Galland. From October 17th to 21st, guests are invited to embark on ‘Diwali by Design’ — a five-day, chocolate-infused dining experience that seamlessly blends Indian tradition with European artistry.

Priced at AED 350 per person, the specially curated set menu is co-created by Chef Vikas Khanna, Chef Ashish, and Forrey & Galland’s Master Chocolatier, offering a symphony of flavours that elevate festive dining to new heights.

Each evening, the restaurant will transform into a radiant Diwali haven, adorned with shimmering lights, fresh marigolds, and intricate floral arrangements. Guests can expect an elegant atmosphere filled with warmth, joy, and the spirit of giving.

The menu features inventive dishes infused with premium chocolate and artisanal ingredients such as halawa, mint, and pistachio. Highlights include the Spiced Pumpkin & Cocoa Nib Cappuccino, Textures of Sabudana, Palak Methi Gosht, Murgh Makhani, and a vegetarian favourite — Saag Paneer with mixed greens and white butter.

To conclude the experience, desserts take centre stage with creations such as Masala Chocolate Mousse, Moong Dal Halwa with Nut Crumble, and Carrot Cake with Vanilla Cream, celebrating both indulgence and innovation.

Adding to the festivities, every table will feature a rotating selection of handcrafted sweets and chocolates inspired by each day of Diwali — from Chocolate Gold Bars with Dates Ganache on Dhanteras to Rangoli Chocolates with Soan Papdi filling and Saffron Marigold-Infused truffles on Diwali night. The celebration continues with Pistachio Praline Chocolates for Govardhan Puja and Peacock Cumin Cookies for Bhai Dooj, symbolising prosperity, unity, and the bonds of family.

Founded in 1912 in Paris, Forrey & Galland is known for its exquisite handcrafted chocolates and refined gift collections. Reimagined in Dubai by Isabelle Jaouen and Vincent Moret, the Maison’s signature Diwali Collection honours Indian artistry through vibrant motifs, rangoli-inspired confections, and luxurious presentation boxes.
