Travel world wide with assurance

New India Assurance  (NIA) yesterday said it entered into a deal with world’s leading travel insurance service provider, Mapfre Asistencia to provide Travel Assurance Benefits  to all its clients travelling to worldwide destinations .

Mapfre is a WTO affiliate member and has been providing Travel Insurance Worldwide for the last 25 years .  In Bahrain they operate through their Seef office. 

This policy, according to the company, will cater into the sudden requirement of Bahraini Travellers for Medical & Emergency assistance, 24X7 Personal Assistance, Personal Accident, and Personal liability risk on trips abroad.

The Medical Expenses and Hospitalization Component cover provides, Emergency Medical Evacuation, Emergency Dental Care Repatriation of Mortal Remains, Repatriation of Mortal Remains Emergency Return, Home costs following death of a Relative Travel of One Immediate Family Member.

The Personal Assistance Component provides 24 Hours Assistance, Delivery of Medicines, Advance Bail Bond, Legal Defence, & Assistance in the unfortunate event of Hijacking. Loss & Delays due to Loss of Passport, DL, I-card, Compensation for In flight loss of Checked in Baggage, Compensation for  Delay in arrival of luggage, Delayed Departure Locating and Forwarding of Personal Effects are also covered.

The Policy also provides for Personal Accident or Death in Common Carrier, Permanent Disability, and Permanent Total Disability & Claims arising out of Civil Liability. 

Travellers can choose various Insurance Period Duration options for Single & Multi Trips for Short as well as Long Duration, as a lone traveller or with family. There are convenient options available for Business as well as Holiday trips to Worldwide Destinations with or without USA/ Canada options and also to European Countries including Schengen Area.

Corporate Frequent travellers can take a Multi Trip policy for 1- 2 years and be assured of upto two years travel assurance any no of times for a maximum Single duration of 92 days per trip. The premium rates are very competitive. Many of our clients and Travel Agents have shown keen interest in taking these
policies.
