Shura Council Chairman, His Excellency H.E. Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, has reaffirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to cultural diversity, peaceful coexistence, and initiatives that promote dialogue, tolerance, and fraternity amongst all nations and peoples.

Mr Al Saleh expressed pride in the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, who advocates for peace, coexistence, and brotherhood to be the strategic pillars upon which progress and development are to be built.

He noted that the initiatives put forth by HM the King at the 33rd Arab Summit, notably the proposition for an international peace conference to address Middle Eastern issues, are envisaged as a blueprint for enhanced dialogue, development, and collaborative efforts among nations to safeguard and further the humanitarian cause.

The Chairman expressed appreciation for the government’s efforts to galvanise initiatives that cast Bahrain in the role of a pioneer of peace and stability. He praised the vigilant guardianship and support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and his continued support for the Kingdom’s development and its prosperous alliances.

Influential role

Furthermore, Mr Al-Saleh has shed light on the increasingly influential role of Bahraini parliamentary diplomacy in forging robust relationships and the exchange of wisdom with fellow legislative bodies.

He stressed that this diplomacy contributes to acquainting countries with Bahrain’s development and prosperity, achieved through the solidarity and efforts of all national institutions.

The Chairman stated that Bahrain has emerged as a paragon of civilisation, a beacon that radiates the nation’s core values of dialogue, respect for the individual, and the harmonious H.E. Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh coexistence of its people.
