A powerful Iranian missile strike on central Israel has caused widespread destruction, damaging multiple residential buildings and injuring several people, according to emergency authorities.
Emergency service agency Magen David Adom (MDA) confirmed that several two-story buildings in Tel Aviv were either severely damaged or partially collapsed due to the impact, describing the scene as one of “large-scale destruction.” Video footage from the scene showed rubble strewn across the area and major structural damage to adjacent properties.
Israeli Police and bomb disposal units were deployed to multiple sites across central Israel in response to reports of munitions impact. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) stated that search and rescue teams were operating at more than 10 locations across the country, addressing the aftermath of a barrage of missile strikes.
At least 11 people have been reported injured, though no fatalities have been confirmed at this time.
In Haifa, officials also confirmed a missile impact, marking the latest escalation in an already volatile regional conflict. The strikes appear to be part of a broader Iranian offensive amid ongoing tensions between Iran and Israel, raising concerns of further retaliation and heightened regional instability.
Authorities are continuing to assess the full extent of the damage and monitor for any additional threats.
